Mary Emma Garren

Mary Emma Garren Fletcher – Mary Emma Garren, 93, of Fletcher, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Universal Healthcare. A native of Henderson County, she was a daughter of the late Adolphus and Stella Garren. She was also preceded in death by three brothers; Ledger, John and James Garren as well as a sister, Sarah Garren. She is survived by a brother, William "Penny" Garren of Fletcher as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 11, 2014 in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with Reverend Doug Carroll officiating.
