Mary Jane Tuck Jarrett, 78, of Asheville, NC passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024. She was the daughter of the late James Tuck and Evelyn Cole Tuck. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Arthur Dennis Jarrett; a daughter, Karen Elizabeth Jarrett and a brother, James William Tuck.
She is survived by her daughters; Denise Hamlin (Kevin) and LeAnn Gibbs (David) both of Asheville; and granddaughters, Valerie Fleming and Ashley Gibbs.
Mary Jane was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church where she led the Choir for many years. She loved painting and spending time with her family!
A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2024 with visitation one hour before in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road with the Rev. Eric Reece officiating. The family will receive friends before the service. A private burial will follow.
