Mary Kelly Peterson

Mrs. Peterson was born in Madison County and was a daughter of the late Burgin and Vasthia Wildes Ball. She was married to Charles E. Kelly who died in 1957 and to William O. Peterson who died in 1983. She was retired from American Enka.
Surviving are four daughters, Betty Bentley, Wilda Jane Arrington and Charline Christopher of Asheville and Faye Marie Langen of Huntsville, AL; four sisters, Eloise Daniels of Detroit, MI, Pauline Jones and Hannah Sams of Asheville and Marjorie Calbash of California; six grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Thursday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home and at other times will be at the home of Charline Christopher, 57 Stamey Road, Candler.

sHE WAS THE BEST AUNT ANY PERSON COULD ASK FOR. WE LOVED HER TO DEATH. MY MOM IS MISSING HER SO BAD ALREADY.
My condolences to the family, she was a very beautiful lady. We have been praying for her for so long. But she went to be with our Lord instead of staying here with us on earth. I know that she is happy now & is no longer hurting. May the Lord be with everyone in there time of need.
