Mary Lillian Rogers

Mary Lillian Sutton Rogers, 80, of Hendersonville, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Isaac "Ike" Luther Sutton and Margaret Emma Gentry Sutton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Rogers and four brothers, Weldon, Charles, Ray, and Bobby Sutton. Mary is survived by one daughter, Debbie McMinn and her husband, Tom, of Hendersonville; one son, Dean Rogers and his wife, Renee, of Weaverville; five grandchildren, Allen McMinn and his wife, Kim, Megan Blythe and her husband, Junior, Holly Worsham and her husband, Chris, Kristina Rogers and Robert Rogers; four great-grandchildren, Clay, Christian, Levi and Mason; one sister, Ruth Snow, of Webster NH; one brother, Junior Sutton and wife Lorene of Clyde. A Graveside Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, April 27 at Calvary Episcopal Churchyard in Fletcher. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:30 PM on Thursday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
