Mary Linda Davis, 69, of Leicester, died on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at her home. A native of Greensboro, Mrs. Davis was a daughter of the late Joseph D. and Ina Isley McMillan. She was a retired teacher from Lee H. Edwards High School, and was a prior member at Bethel United Methodist Church and a member at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Larry Davis; two daughters, Laura Pickens, and Lisa Edwards; sister, Darlene Thompson; and four grandchildren. A funeral service for Mrs. Davis will be on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Ronnie Owen officiating. Interment will follow in the church's cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CarePartners Adult Day Services, 68-A Sweeten Creek Rd., Asheville, NC 28803.

    iPLAYED BINGO with Linda amd use to have iinch with her on Tuesday and Friday, she use to talk about her grand children oftern . We also use to have the same bone specialist @ Blue Ridgeee Bone ond Joint. I am going to miss Linda very much, esspecially when we play Bingo !
