Dear James, Peggy, Johnny and Jerry; I was sadden to hear of your Mom’s (Aunt Madge) sickness and passing. She will be missed greatly! My memory immediately takes me to my last visit with her at the family reunion and then to the days of our youth and the positive influence of your Mom on us all. It seems that was only a short while ago. My prayer is that each of you will be blessed during this time of grief and that the void left from the loss of your Mom will be filled with great memories, comfort, and hope in Christ’s promise to us all of ever lasting life.
With our love,
Harold and Family

It has been over two years ago since my beautiful and most wonderful grandmother went to be with our Lord and savior(Jesus)I miss her just as much today as I did when she left. She was a Lady that prayed continuous for her family or who ever the Lord laid on her heart, I will see her and my Dad again, one day soon. My prayers are that my whole family and friends will be there too.
So I started looking up family history, Just to see.. What I came away with was tears streaming down my face. I remember coming to your house mamaw and it was a running family joke that you never even said hello it was always ‘Are you hungry?’ I miss the chocolate cake that never failed to be on the table. I miss the offer of you making a fried hot dog, eggs, pancakes, chicken, hamburger, anything!!!! at 7 in the morning. I miss your creepy picture of Jesus that scared the crap out of me as a child. I miss sitting on the stool beside the fridge and using your ‘old cool’ phone. I miss looking for Easter eggs while you cooked dinner. I miss the smell of your house.. I miss you. What I would give to walk into your house and have you ask if I was hungry I swear that would be a meal I make sure to eat slow. What caught me off guard was the picture of you. I haven’t seen you in 10 plus years. Then there you were. While the picture isn’t the best, It was just enough to make me miss you.
