Mary Ruth Elingburg

Mary Ruth Stepp Elingburg, 84, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Fletcher Rehab and Healthcare.

Mrs. Elingburg was born in Henderson County to the late Hubert and Alice Bagwell Stepp. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lee Elingburg; a brother, Jack Stepp and a sister, Janie Conard.

Mary was first and foremost a Christ follower. She was a devoted member of Fletcher First Baptist and a true Christian lady. She also was an excellent mom, sister and “granny”

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Seaborn (Bryan); two grandchildren, Christopher Seaborn and Jenna James (Evan); four great grandchildren, Lilly Kate Seaborn, Adeleigh James, Blakely James and Raelyn James and several brother and sister-in-law’s.

A memorial service will be held this Friday, December 27, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Fletcher First Baptist with Pastor Roy Waldroup officiating. A private burial will take place at New Salem Cemetery in Skyland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fletcher First Baptist Church.
