Mary Ruth Rowe Clark went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

Mary was born December 11, 1945 in Buncombe County to the late John W. and Eldia A. Rowe. She lived most of her life in Buncombe County and retired from Balcrank Products in 2005. She enjoyed canning and working in flowers and being with family in retirement.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carmel L. Clark in 1986, sons, David Lee Clark and John Wayne Clark, 8 sisters and 2 brothers.

Surviving are her daughters, Deborah Rice (John) and Rosemary Clark; grandchildren, Jason Rice (Katie), Amy Cecil (Wade), Lee Clark (April), David Clark (Shelly) and Eli Gosnell (Shalya); and great-grandchildren, Xander Cecil, Kate Cecil, Austin Clark, Levi Clark and Riley Clark.

Private graveside services were held at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gabriels Baptist Church Building and Grounds Fund, PO Box 1087, Mars Hill, NC 28754.
