Mary Sue Hawkins

July 16, 1917 ~ July 10, 1998

Funeral services for Mrs. Hawkins will be at 2:00 pm Monday, July 13, 1998, at Calvary Baptist Church, where she was a long-time member and church secretary. The Revs. Buddy Corbin, John Knight, and Edgar Ferrell will officiate with burial to follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park.,

Mrs. Hawkins was born in Calhoun County, SC, and was a daughter of the late Joseph Carroll and Beulah Hancock Whitaker, Sr. She was married to E.V. Hawkins, who died January 19, 1993.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary C. Pfalzgraf; a sister, Carolyn Baxley; a brother, J.C. Whitaker, Jr.; grandchildren, Gretchen Hodge, Mark Pfalzgraf, and Jennifer Allen, and great-grandchildren, Andrwe, Paul, and Ashlyn.
