Matilda Ann Zabot

Matlida (Tillie) Ann Peretti Zabot, 92, died on September 29, 2015, in Asheville, NC. A native of Illinois, Tillie was born to the late Antonio and Caterina Peretti. She was predeceased by her husband, Guido P. Zabot, sister, Catherine Columbo; brothers, Robert Costa (Georgia), Domenic Peretti (Dora); niece, Patricia Pickett; nephews, David Columbo and Anthony Peretti. Tillie is survived by her daughter, Rosemarie Z. Ellis; son, Robert Zabot (Marion); sister-in-law, Pierina McVicker; granddaughters, Theresa M. Ellis, Kimberly E. Bryant (Michael), Reyburn Z. Wilson (Ashby), Angela Culler; great-grandchildren, Blaine, Kyle, Bryan, Krisalyn, Linda, Tinsley, Calley and Grayson; nieces, Brenda Turnbull, Karen Cassell (Eugene), Catherine Feather (Larry), Patty Peretti, Deborah Billingsley; nephews, Victor, John, Jim and David McVicker, Edward Columbo and many great-nephews and nieces. A graveside ceremony will take place in Virginia Beach at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to your favorite charity.
