  4. Miss Mattie,

I only met you briefly most recently. But, through those few moments with you and listening to Tracie’s stories, your sense of humor and the love you have for your family made a permanent impact on my life. I know you will be missed by many. In Rick Warren’s book he says ‘At death you won’t leave home…you’ll go home.’ Welcome home.

    Love,
    Jan Partain (fellow doll lover)

  5. Matt, has it been 50 years since I sauntered around your kitchen looking to bum a buscuit and maybe a green onion to go with it? You were the nicest mother in the old neighborhood and admired by all of us rowdy children. May your final journey be pleasant and your reward be all it should be.

  6. Steve & Brenda,
I am sorry for your loss. Just know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

  13. The last time I spoke to Nanny I thanked her for giving me life. I also asked her to give me a shout when she got to the other side and to tell my Daddy hey. She laughed and then said she would try. I will carry her with me always.

We all miss you so much. You were like a mother to a lot of us. I know you are happy now with all your other family. Give my Mom a hug and a kiss and tell her I love her. Our prayers go out to your sons, daughter grandkids and the rest of your family. We love you always.
