Maxine Moore Klutts

Maxine Moore May Klutts of 410 Crowfield Drive, Asheville, died Friday, September 5, 2003, at Memorial Mission Hospital. A native of Sweetwater, TX, she was a daughter of the late Henry Gaines Moore and Mattie Moore. She was also preceded in death by both her husbands, Dr. Hugh “Pete” May and Daniel Edwin Klutts. She was a member of Arden Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Stuart Gaines May Mason of Asheville; grandchildren, Mark McClellan Mason and Amber Gaines Mason and a great-grandson, Nick Boone. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday at Mrs. Klutts’ home with the Reverend Clem Gunn officiating. Friends and family will be welcome from 12:00-1:00 pm prior to the service.
