Maxine Whitlock

Maxine Whitlock Fletcher, NC ~ Maxine Whitlock, 98, of Fletcher, died Monday, October 22, 2012 at Beystone Heath and Rehabilitation. A native of Cisne, IL, she was a daughter of the late Olin and Ruth Fairleigh Golden. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Lester Whitlock, two sons, Richard Lee Whitlock and Gerald Arlen Whitlock as well as one daughter, Barbara LaJune Whitlock. Maxine was very happy to have been a Jehovah's Witness all of her life. She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Wagner and her husband, Bob, of Fletcher and Karla Kenyon of Chicago, IL as well as four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall in Inverness on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 3:00 PM. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian in Arden, NC is assisting the family.
