Michael Gary Queen, 77, of Candler, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024.

A native of Buncombe Co., Michael was a son of the late Eugene and Georgia Hall Queen. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Moore Queen.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Strickland; grandchildren, Hannah Strickland (Kal’el), Grace Stickland and Kelsey Holt (Cliff); and a dog named Indie, which he adored and loved very much.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, June 2, at 2:00 p.m. at White Rock Baptist Church, with Pastor Terry Sprouse officiating.
