Michael Rhyn Smith, 42, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at Mission Hospital.
Michael was born January 14, 1979, in Asheville to the late Billy Ray Smith and Ruth Clark Smith Ballard.
He is survived by his sister, Pam Johnson and her husband, Michael, and by his brother, Roger Ray Smith and his wife Angie.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
The family expresses their sincere appreciation to the staff of Irene Wortham Center for the love and care they provided to Michael through the years.
