Michelle Mary MacPhee Moran, 63, of Asheville, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016.
A native of Mt. Kisco, NY, Michelle was a graduate of Fox Lane High School in Bedford, NY. She was a daughter of the late Arthur W. MacPhee, Jr., and Juanita Mae Gilmore MacPhee. She was also preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Paul and Frances Moran.
Michelle retired from a career in purchasing with Leggett & Platt in Atlanta, GA.
Surviving are her husband, James Francis Moran; son, Jacob Benjamin "Jake" Moran and wife Kasey Hughes Moran; grandsons, Ean Ezekiel Moran and Aiden Malacai Moran, all of Asheville; sisters, Eileen Goodrow and husband John of Mahopac, NY, and Kathleen Garvin-Tomblin of Branford, CT; aunt, Susan MacPhee Graham and husband George of Shenorock, NY; aunt, Joyce Gilmore Krewson, of OK, and uncle Arel "Archie" Gilmore and wife Ann of TN; sisters-in-law Paula Lynn Williams and husband Ron of Valdosta, GA, Robin Bennett and husband Norman of Hahira, GA, Pam Adams of Alpharetta, GA, and Judy McDaniel and husband Burton of Alpharetta, GA; brother-in-law, Keith Moran and wife Betsy of Dublin, GA; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Rd. is assisting the family.
