Mike Antonio Dorato II, 48, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 20, 2014, at his home.
Born in Melbourne, FL, he was a son of Elouise Clark Dorato of the home and the late Mike Antonio Dorato. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bud Dorato. Mike formerly worked in the family dealership, Dorato Motors and he was a life member of Victory Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by sisters, Sharon Williams and husband, Leonard, and Susan Fox and husband, Dennis; nephew, Patrick Williams and wife, Nicole; nieces, Alex Williams and Michelenna Pickle and husband, Andy; great-nieces and nephew, Natalie Grace Williams and Catherine, Emily and Drew Pickle; uncle, Frank Dorato and aunt, Margaret Magnum.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Chase officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Meals Program of Victory Baptist Church, 80 Olivette Road, Asheville, NC 28804.
Mike’s passing is such a shock and it makes it so important to remember to aways tell each other what they mean to you every chance you get.Elouise my heart goes out to you and your family with such a loss.This was a life cut way too short but I thank GOD for blessing my life with Mike . I will miss his smile and kindness.Be at peace and know you have many friends who will be there for you.Deepest sympathy from our hearts to yours

Elouise, I love you and I loved MIke! I feel blessed to know he loved me because he told me so! We send our love and prayers. Mom says she is so glad we made ‘our trip’!

Elouise I am so sorry to hear about Mike’s passing. It was a shock to me and Saunders. Mike was a giant but a gentle and kind one. He will be greatly missed.
