Mildred McFee Jones

Mildred McFee Jones, 85, of Rock Hill, SC, died Thursday, April 26, 2018. A native of Buncombe Co., Mildred was a daughter of the late Dennis and Della Warren McFee. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Les Jones, and by nine siblings. Millie, as she was known to all, was a lifetime resident of West Asheville. She was an integral part of the community and her church. She touched many lives throughout the years. Surviving are her son, Philip Jones (Cindy); daughter, Barbara Fagan; grandchildren, Matt Fagan (Crystal), Lesley Fagan, Matthew Hubble (Maggie), and Michael Hubble (Amber); great-grandchildren, Anna, Lucas, Grayson, Evie, Savanah, and Jeb; sister, Margie Morgan; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Carol Jablonski officiating. Interment will follow at Snow Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service.
