I was saddened to hear of Millie’s passing. We went to High School together, and our paths overlapped in numerous ways and across activities. I had not seen her in 40 years, but I still remember her as always bubbling with laughter and optimism. She was unfailingly kind to everyone. I don’t believe I ever heard her say an unkind word about another. She will be missed – Godspeed, Millie – your life touched us all.
So sad to hear of Millie’s passing. We attended Franklin High School together. Millie was always the same, laughing and bringing a smile to everyone’s face. Spent some very good times with her and will never forget her. I pray for her family during this difficult time and the days ahead.
I remember Roger and Jessie’s excitement when a baby girl was born and how touched both families were when she was named for Aunt Mildred. When Mildred was a little girl, she loved to read, and I have a vivid memory of her going down the steps in our home with her arms filled with Nancy Drew books. Another memory is being in Jessie’s kitchen after her books were published and seeing Mildred’s excitement and enthusiasm as she helped Jessie pack boxes of her books to head out to school conferences.
I’m so sorry that Mildred had health challenges in her last few years. Doug and I extend our love and condolences to all of you as you grieve for a sweet wife, mother and sister.

Tony, Megan….I am so very sorry. Millie was such a wonderful lady and such a mentor to me. I loved her and she always had a kind word for me as well as anybody who needed it. I watched you grow up Megan, while we all were at WABC together years ago. I am just so sorry. There are not any words to comfort you right now. Just know she was loved by all who knew her and be comforted to know that she had an abundant entrance into Heaven. I will be praying for you guys. It will be difficult to do without her. She was indeed a very special person. Love to both of you!
Our sincere sympathy. Bill and Waco Culbertson
