Mildred W. Wesley, 85, of Asheville, passed away Wednesday, June 15, at Mission Hospital.
Born in Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late John and Flora Chapman Wright. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Crowder and her second husband, Jimmy Wesley.
She was a homemaker and a member of Oakley Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Ronald Crowder of Brevard and his wife, Dorothy; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 18, at 11 a.m., in the Tunnel Road chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF ANUT MILDRED SHE WAS A SWEET LADY ALTHOUGH AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER IF U ASK HER HOW SHE WAS DOING SHE WOULD TELL ALL THAT WAS WRONG WITH HER BUT SHE WAS A NICE PERSON AND THE LAST OF THE WIRGHT FAMILY THATS A GREAT LOSS TO OUR FAMILY IVE BEEN AROUND LONG ENOUGH TO REMEMBER ALL 11 OF 12 THE FUNERALS EXCEPT ONE AND THAT WAS BRANT WRIGHT BUT SHE WILL BE REMEMBERED AS A SWEET LADY IN MY BOOK OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILY
We are so sorry for your loss. Mildred was a precious ‘Lady’ We went to church together. She was so faithful til her health starting failing . Loved her and will miss her.So will the rest of our church family. God Bless.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Mildred. She was always loved. I just found out about her death. My sister Zelda, and I live in Cleveland, Ohio so we didn’t know before. Sonny I am so sorry for your loss. God Bless. Love Ginger Wright
