Guestbook

  1. One of the great blessings of our lives was to know the love, the kindness, the sweetness, and the depth of Minnie’s feelings for those who were on her long list of treasured friends.

Even in the last week of her life, she was sending cards, Christmas letters, and information to everyone she loved about her activities with family and friends throughout the year, 2005.

She appreciated and acknowledged every kindness and every loving thought from her friends and family. She kept in touch with everyone by remembering them on holidays, birthdays, and occasions that were important in their lives.

She had a number of special and unique recipes from which she would bake and prepare special treats to share with her family and friends on Christmas and Easter, the two days of the year that were most important to her.

She was a woman of unusual dignity, honor, integrity, good judgement, and common sense. She will be remembered for her wisdom, knowledge, compassion, concern, loyalty, love, and devotion to her Lord and those who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life.

We will miss her laughter, her remembrances, her thoughtfulness, her kindness, and her special ways of loving and giving. We will all try to keep her memory alive by trying to show her kind of love to those who are so important in our own lives.

Thank you, Minnie, for making us a big part of your life. You were a very big part of ours.

    Larry and Elaine Adams

  4. WE HAVE LOST A WONDERFUL AND TRUE FRIEND. MIN WAS THE MOST GRACIOUS AND THOGHTFULL PERSON WE HAVE EVER KNOWN. WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HER BRIGHT SMILE AND LOVING WAYS. SHE DEARLY LOVED HER FAMILY. WE MISSED PAUL A LOT AND KNOW THAT THEY ARE TOGETHER AGAIN.

  5. Earl and I enjoyed knowing Min so very much. She was a real dear and we missed her when she moved from Winston…

  6. As a little girl, I always knew Min as ‘Aunt Min’. She was a very close friend of my family and I remember what a great cook she was. She and my ‘Uncle Paul’ loved to entertain and children were always welcome at their table. What a blessing it was that my life was touched by such a dear person. She will be greatly missed.
