What a perfect picture of your mom- exactly as I think of her. Smiling with a twinkle in her eye. Always so kind and a wonderful example of a Godly Christian woman. May God bless you with sweet memories and carry you through your grief.

  2. Dear Jean and family:
Miriam was always gracious and kind to my husband, Tom, and I. We were grateful for the hospitality extended to us for many years.
Jean, you were and continued to be a special and wonderful daughter. We appreciated talking with you.

  4. I join the family and all those grieving our loss of Miriam in our world. She has been a part of my life my whole life. I have many wonderful memories of her from my childhood to adulthood. My prayers are with the family for God’s sweet comfort at this time of deep sorrow.

  5. Miriam was such a huge part of my childhood, as was all the Hood family. She blessed us with her kindness, and graced us with her shining example. My heart goes out to John and Jean.
