  7. I was fortunate to have known ‘Bud’ for over 60 years. He was a great friend and was so good to me when I returned to Asheville to take care of my father. He and Judy would pick me up to go eat and then play cards or dominoes. Also, I have so many memories of our high school days. Farewell my friend.

  8. Prayers to all family. Just talked to Bud 2 weeks ago. Great man know he’s hitting it long and straight in heaven. God bless everyone. Jeff Boone

  9. Dear Stevens Family,

We are so saddened to hear of the loss of your loved one. We are golf buddies of Bud and he will be missed. He was such a fun person to be around. We are so sorry

  10. Judy and family,
Bud and I were on the ’61-’62 Asheville Biltmore Jr. College basketball team together. I hold many memories of that and riding in the very back seat of the old AB station wagon, facing rearward, to away games. He kept us all in stitches – one good fellow.
Condolences to you and yours, Judy & Dick Allen

  11. Stevens Family, Ann and Bill: Our memories go back to the good old days when we worked at Biltmore Dairy Farms, and played softball together in the City League. Those were the days when we won the City wide tournament and all things were blessings and Bud was a blessing to know and He was a good friend and always treated others with respect. He will be missed, the world could use more men like Bud Stevens. You are in our thoughts and our prayers may God comfort your hearts and give you strength for the weeks ahead.
    Terry and Barbara Burnette

  12. Judy. I am so sorry to hear about Bud. I just found out about it this morning. I moved to Myrtle Beach 2 years ago, so I don’t get a lot of information from Asheville. There’s not many of the old gang left. Wish we all could have gotten together one more time.
Take care and if you are ever in the Myrtle Beach area, I would love to see you.
