Arden ~Morris Kay Radcliff Sr., 91, died Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Memorial Mission Hospital. A native of Buncombe County, Morris was son of the late Marshall and Virginia Knight Radcliff. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Radcliff who died in 2008 and a son, Morris "Mick" K. Radcliff Jr. and by a sister, Maxine Harwell. He was an agent with the Allstate Insurance Company for many years and was a member of Faith Fellowship at Ardenwoods. Morris served in the US Navy during WWII and had the privilege of touring Washington, DC on the Honor Air flight. Surviving is a daughter, Lynn Turlington and her husband, Leon of Mills River, two sisters, Iris McGhee of Asheville , Lattice Gager of Travelers Rest, SC and a brother, Rex Radcliff of Bellingham, Washington. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services for Morris will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with the Rev. Kenneth Crabb officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Honor Air c/o The American Legion Post # 77 423 N. King Street. Hendersonville, N.C. 28792. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
