  5. The Path of Life is Rocky, Sometimes from the cradle to the throne
As we trod through this life. Wandering where we belong
God sometimes takes a young life. A heart, broken deep within
And through those cracks, the light of His love, He sends

Blended with God’s love, the glow of Marty’s love shown through,
A love that was strong, dependable, loyal and true
A giver of himself, to family he was the best
When thinking of others first, He always stood the test

A smile on his face, He’d say,’? I’ll do what I can do’?
If I can help, I’ll always support you.
    My prayers are with you
If you need me, I’ll be there too
    Us Waldroups, stick together
It’s the least that we can do!

As a child, mom said, he was the best
As a brother, he has always stood the test
As a husband, he was dependable and true
As a father, he did everything, he was allowed to do.
As a gramps, his love always shown through

God’s eternal table is always being spread’?
I think God must have heard the rumor
Marty could make’? the best corn bread’?
So, he went before us, to heaven so grand!

To prepare His cornbread for us.
While listening to the angel band

His eye will be on the pearly gates
Waiting for his family to come in
Praying they make the right decision,
And on Christ shed blood they depend.
In heaven, we will be reunited again!
In loving honor of my Brother,
    Morris ‘Marty’? Waldroup
