Muriel Louise Rasmussen Grable, 88 of Brandon, FL and Asheville, NC passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011 in Brandon.
Mrs. Grable was born August 23, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois to George Axel Rasmussen and Evelyn Marquez Rasmussen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Theodore James Grable, her son, George Rasmussen Grable and grandson, Joshua Grable Horn.
She is survived by her sister Verna Higgins, Memphis TN and brother Stanmore Rasmussen, Dana Point, CA; 6 children, Ann Grable Jordan, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Theodore James Grable, Jr., Brandon, FL, William DeTar Grable, Tampa, FL, Mary Grable Barnett, John Matthew Grable and Theresa Ann Grable, all of Asheville, NC; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Asheville NC, on Monday, August 8, 2011, at 10:00 A.M. with inurnment at Riverside Cemetery, Asheville NC at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifePath Hospice, Tampa, FL.

I have been enriched by knowing Muriel. She was so welcoming to me early on at St. Joan of Arc., and became a wonderful friend in the small bible study group we were in together. Our group met many times at her house. Precious memories to me. God Bless her soul and her family.
Sweet Muriel, I will remember her smile, and laughter during the couple of years that I sang with the St. Joan of Arc choir. Much love to Mary and the rest of the family.
