Mrs. Jones was a daughter of the late James Henry and Myrtle Roberts Everett. She was married to John A. Jones who died in 1992 and she was a member of Haywood Street United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one sister, Carolyn Mull of Asheville, and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will atWednesday at 11:00 am at Haywood Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dorothy Thomas officiating.
Her family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service and request that memorials be made to Mountain Area Hospice, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813, or to Haywood Street United Methodist Church, 297 Haywood Street, Asheville, NC 28801.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is in charge of the arrangements.

Toots was a very special lady. Always a sweet sweet smile and an encouaging word for everyone she was in contact with. I knew Toots from St. Joseph’s Hospital were she gave more than her hours of work. She is really going to be missed. Our prayers are with you during this time of loss.
I have know Mrs.Jones since i was a small child and i was pround to have a great friend as her she will be missed by me she was always so cheerful she had a smile and a kind word for all she met I loved her very much
