Myrtle Kuykendall Guy

Myrtle Kuykendall Davis Guy, 82,
of 651 Upper Glady Fork Road,
Candler, died Tuesday, August 25,
1998.

A native of Haywood County, she
was the daughter of the late Philip
M. and Jevia Mae Burnette
Kuykendall.  She was wife of the
late Theodore Davis, who died in
1968 and the late E.W. Guy, who
died in 1980.  She was also
preceded in death by a grandson,
Monty LeFain Davis and a brother,
Earl Kuykendall.  She was a
member of White Rock Baptist
Church.

She is survived by a daughter,
Sylvia Jo Davis of London, KY; four
sons, LeFain Davis, Earl S. Davis,
Richard E. Davis, all of Candler and
Ronald Dean Davis of Arden; a
sister, Marie Moody of Candler; two
brothers, Claude Kuykendall of
Canton and Albert Kuykendall of
Candler, 12 grandchildren and 11
great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 am Friday in
the chapel of Groce Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Piney Mountain
United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from
7 until 8:30 pm Thursday at the
funeral home and at other times at
the home of LeFain Davis.
