Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My sincere condolences to Nancy’s family. Nancy and I were close colleagues at CPCC.
I loved sitting in her office for chats and snacks! She was one of the most energetic people I’ve ever met, and her joy In learning and teaching flowed into her classroom. Having heard so many wonderful things about her from her students, I once audited her philosophy class. Without a pause, she entered the room each day with a big smile and said, “Let’s get crackin!” Not a moment was wasted. We were all entranced. As friends we hiked in the NC mountains, discussed poetry and Carl Jung. I remember her with much affection. Irene Blair Honeycutt

  2. As a teenager I was a babysitter for the three lovely Rouzer girls. All three were different and all three were fun to be with. When Nancy and Elmer were dressed to go out they looked like “Hollywood”. They were a good looking couple. Later in life we ended up being neighbors on Perrin Place in Charlotte and were able to visit. The family brings wonderful memories to me.
