Nancy was such a wonderful Children’s Leader in Bible Study Fellowship. Her love for The Lord was so evident as she loved on those little ones and told them about Jesus. She was such a sweet friend to everyone. May God surround you with His gracious peace and comfort. Karen Baker
I met Nancy at Clyde A Erwin when I moved to Asheville in 1964. We became great friends and she was always cheerful and upbeat. We graduated and went to UNCA for a couple of years until joined the Army. We reconnected at the 50th High School Reunion and it was like we had never been apart. I always thought that we would end up together, but time and the state of the world didn’t make it possible. I will miss her greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
Rest in Peace Sweet Nancy!! We went to school with Nancy and what a happy, fun, intelligent Beautiful Lady! My Niece, Michelle Taylor Berry is married to her Son Sonny Berry! We are praying for all the family and friends that loved her! God Bless all the Family!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️
Nancy’s mama and my mama were great friends for many years.
Nancy and I were great friends for many years. She taught me to do her job at the power plant. I never met a more helpful and sincerely good human being.
I feel the sorrow of everyone that loved her. We all were better with her.
May she rest easy as we go on without her.

Nancy was such a sweet lady, who touched many lives. She always had a beautiful smile and a hug whenever you saw her. Continued prayers for Roy and her family.
Dear Family, Just now heard of precious Nancy’s passing. What a light for the Lord she was and a dear friend, classmate at Erwin, scout leader when our boys were small and confidant. Nancy could light up a room and make everyone feel loved. There are sad hearts at her passing and she is so missed by all who knew her. Praying God’s comfort and strength for you dear family. But her bright light is shining forevermore in this world as she is with Christ her Savior and Lord. Love and prayers to each one. Missing you already sweet Nancy my sister in the Lord Jesus.
I was both saddened and rejoicing when l learned of Nancie’s passing today. Such a sweet lady. I’m sure she is in the presence of our Lord as l write this. Always a joyful upbeat soul. Know that the Lord will be with you each and every day Roy. Know that l will be lifting you up in my daily prayers! I would have come to the service had l learned of her passing in a more timely manner. Sorry for your loss.
Love and prayers to all the family. My father, Hugh Ayers, worked with and later employed Joe Bowlin . All of our family were fond of the Bowlin family. I am sure Joe has her in his arms .
Deeply saddened this morning when I heard of Nancy’s passing. I ran into her her at the church parking lot a few years ago as I came to pay my respects to Michael & Jeff ( as I do religiously every time i come home to visit) and to spot her across the parking lot, i instantly loss control of my emotions as I was not able to attend Michaels funeral and the guilt i felt for all those years, she hugged me and told me it was ok. Then to find out she had found my fathers dog tag in a old car at her mothers house and had held onto it knowing she would run into me one day just blew me away. God has a special place for her and I am sure Michael is glad to be back in his mothers arms again.. Will miss you dearly Nancy !
