Nancy Pardue Breazeale Bretz, 82, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 in Asheville, NC.

A native of Memphis, TN and formerly of Perry, GA, Nancy was a daughter of the late Harry Edward and the late Freddie Curtis Pardue. She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include, son, Charles Lee Breazeale, Jr. (Laura), of Elko, GA; daughters, Breazi Breazeale, of Candler, NC and Margaret “Mia” Breazeale, of Rotterdam, Netherlands; sisters, Judy Curtis Peterson (Chris), of Asheville, and Dorothy Duncan, of Columbia, TN; brother, Charles E. Pardue, of Asheville; and grandchildren Rebecca Goodspeed (Ben), Sarah Breazeale, Catherine Breazeale, Charles Lee Breazeale III, Xavier Blomenkamp and great-grandchild Kennedy Goodspeed.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Bretz in 2012.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Brooks-Howell Retirement Home, Asheville, where Nancy had lived for the past 2 years.
