Nina Plemmons Rhinehart

Nina Fish Plemmons Rhinehart, 85, wife of the late George W. Plemmons and the late Glenn Rhinehart, inherited her heavenly home which she longed for on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Aston Park Health Care Center.
Born in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Cassie and Anna Fish, and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Huntley, sisters, Marie Hall and Verna Wood, and a brother, Edward Fish. She retired from American Enka Corp. and the WNC Baptist Home.
Nina was a member of Maple Ridge Baptist Church, Candler, for over 30 years and attended faithfully until her illness.
Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Annette Plemmons of Candler and the Rev. Roger and Carol Plemmons of Greenville, SC; a daughter, Kathy Plemmons of Asheville; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. Steve Fox and Roger Plemmons officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and at other times will be at the home of her son, Wayne Plemmons, 204 Fairmont Road, Candler.

The family expresses their sincere appreciation to the staff of Aston Park HCC for the loving care and compassion they provided for Mrs. Rhinehart.
Wayne and Annette, I remember you and your mother when she and I worked at American Enka. I was Irene Israel before I became a Davis, and now my last name is Mills. Your mother was a lovely lady.

Kathy and family, I am so sorry of the passing of Nina. I remember spending many Sunday afternoons at your house on Sundays. George and Nina was always good to me! It is comforting to know she is with Jesus right now!! I will keep you in my prayers!

Wayne & Annette, We were so sorry to hear of Wayne’s Mother’s death. I remember going with Annette to her house when I would spend the night with Annette. She was always so nice to me. Just remember our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
