Nola Lee Meriweather Flannigan, 70, of 16 Knot Head Drive, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at her home. Mrs. Flannigan was born in Lewiston, ID, and was a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Pearl Patterson Meriweather, and she was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry W. Flannigan, and by a son, Steve Tramel. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Tramel and Kim Tramel of Candler; six sons, Doug and Chris Tramel, and Allen Flannigan, all of Bridge City, TX, Charlie Flannigan of Asheville, Michael Flannigan of Biloxi, MS, and Joey Flannigan of Fairview; two sisters, Ellen Reed of Orange, TX and Abbie McCain of Ola, AR; a brother, Robert Meriweather of Plain View, AR; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Phillip Hurst officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting with the arrangements.

  2. There are alot of wonderful memories with Mom. The times I always remember the most are at cow creek with the family and gang that all tagged along for the fun, those were the best days. Mom, I love you still and always will. She will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathies are with the entire family. May the Lord bless you all.
