Nora Lyle Christopher

November 30, 1915 ~ October 23, 1999

Nora Lyle Christopher, 83, of 107 Brucemont Circle, Asheville, died Saturday, October 23, 1999, at Aston Park Health Care Center.

Mrs. Christopher was born in Huntsville, AL, and was married to James G. Christopher, who died in
1996. She was a member of the first graduating class of Lee H. Edwards High School, where she finished at the age of fifteen. She was a former
secretary and bookkeeper for the National Mortgage Loan Co. and later for an attorney’s office. She attended West Asheville Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a sister, Sara Medlock Christopher and her husband Jack, and two brothers, Lionel Lyle and his wife Edna and Don
Lyle and his wife Leila, all of Asheville, a niece and two nephews.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Enoch Ball, Jr. officiating.

Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
