Norma Sanders Clark, 85, of Case Cove Road, Candler, NC died Saturday, October 4, 2003, at the Mountain Area Hospice Solace Center. She was the daughter of the late Enoch and Allie Sanders and wife of the late William Bennett Clark. The Clarks resided in Charlotte for 24 years. They were the owners of Buyers Inc. and avid golfers at Pine Island Country Club. Survivors include three daughters, Carole Williford and her husband Harold of Waynesville, Cherie Shaw of Candler and Pamela McAnulty of Charlotte; a son, William Ray Toler and his wife Vivian of VA; a brother-in-law, Wayne Clark and his wife Patricia of TN; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and special friends Angel, Barbara, Lisa, Robin, and Susie. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, October 9, 2003, in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Reverend Father Alex Viola officiating. Her family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
