Norris L. Kitchin
October 11, 1918 ~ July 28, 2001

Miss Kitchin was born in Jackson County and was a daughter of the late Paul and Eunice Henson Kitchin. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Norma Hyatt and a brother, Willard Kitchin.
She is survived by two sisters, Nevelle Hawkins and her husband Troy of Snellville, GA and Kate Joyner of Seneca, SC; one brother, Willis R. Kitchin and his wife Mildred of Alpharetta, GA; one sister-in-law, Helen Kitchin of Whittier, NC, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 pm Monday in the chapel of the Black Mountain Center with Chaplain Don Lederer officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Candler.
Her family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the chapel and request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Black Mountain Center, 1280 Old Highway 70 W., Black Mountain, NC 28711.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is in charge of the arrangements.

We have watched you share your love with Norris all these years but today she is experiencing love beyond our imagination. You are in our thoughts and prayers especially during this special time.
