  6. Ora Mae was at first my sister-in-law and as time past she became one of my very best friends. I am a much better person because I knew her. She touched my life in so many different ways. She had so much character and was such and independent proud woman with a gentle warm heart. She taught me about flowers, banana pudding, jello with fruit in it, grilled cheese sandwiches and how to rotate the folded laundry each week and how to put up apples. These things sound simple but there was more to it because while we did them we had good conversations about all sorts of things. We discussed books, flowers and birds or just family. Ora Mae loved her family. She spoke each person’s name with such pride. I’m going to miss my friend. My heart goes out to you, Kyle, Dianne, Dale, Morgan, Duncan, Robbie. She was a jewel.
