OVALENE C. HORN Ovalene Cody Horn, 87, formerly of 406 Emma Road, Asheville, died Friday, April 18, 2008. Mrs. Horn was born in Madison County and was married to Druey Benny Horn, Jr., who died in 2005. She was retired from the Vanderbilt Shirt Company and she was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her son, Michael Horn of Leicester; her daughter, Sandra H. Monthey and her husband, Steven, of Chardon, OH; four grandchildren, Sarah Horn, Rachel Horn, Michael Monthey and his wife, Leigh Ann, and Michele Harwood and her husband, Bobby; and one great-grandson, B.J. Harwood. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. James Stewart officiating. Burial will be at Ashelawn Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
