Patricia Ann Carver, 71, of Ormond Ave., Asheville, died on Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Memorial Campus Mission Hospitals.
An Asheville native, Mrs. Carver was a daughter of the late Thomas C. and Sarah Madeline Gudger Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest "Reeves" Carver; sisters, Peggy Jo Griffin, and Sarah Sutton; and niece, Deborah Burden.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting her family.

Reeves, Peggy Jo, and Duper, I can remember Peggy Jo your coming to Vance School and telling me you had a new little baby sister. I can also recall your living across the street from my Grandparents on Middlemont Avenue. I know Patsy has not been well for years; however, regardless of any circumstances we are never ready to lose our loved ones. Just know we are thinking of you and will hold you in my prayers. I hope it does help in some small way to know others do care. Mary
