Patricia Ann Coffey

Patricia Ann Coffey, 73, of Swannanoa, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. A native of Buncombe County she was a daughter of the late Herman S. and Marie Gray Stroupe. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hannah Snyder. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Russell Larry Coffey; two daughters, Laura Snyder (Roger), of Alexander and Lisa Duncan (Billy), of Swannanoa; grandchildren, Corey, Tsz-yan, Alyssa, Devon and Kaitlyn; two sisters, Doris Clayton, of Swannanoa and Marjorie Lovin, of Asheville; great-niece, Jessie Griffin and other nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Chapel. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road.
