Patricia Carr

Patricia Gregg Carr, 77, of Carlton, GA, died on Monday, May 17, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospice House, in Bogart, GA. A native of Buncombe County, Mrs. Carr was a daughter of the late Emory and Vera O'Kelley Gregg. She was retired from the Columbus, GA Police Department. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Becky Gregg of Candler; grandchildren, Heather Burnette of Asheville and Jennifer Barnes of Fletcher; two great granddaughters; and nieces and nephews, including Becky Edwards of Carlton, GA, Patty Whitehead of Athens, GA, and Karen Britt of Stone Mountain, GA. A funeral service for Mrs. Carr will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Piney Mountain United Methodist Church with The Rev. Adam Vernon officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
