Patricia Hunt Bunker, 96, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
A native of Earlville, IA, Pat was the daughter of the late Howard and Fern Reeder Hunt. She was also preceded in death by her son, Christopher Bunker.
Pat moved to Asheville in 1964 when her husband accepted a position at Asheville Biltmore College (now UNC Asheville). She later became an educator herself, teaching Art History at Montreat Anderson College.
She is survived by her children, Candace Miller (Larry), and Frank Underwood (Susan).
The graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 8, at Green Hills Cemetery.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
