Patricia Moore Hamlin, 64, passed away Monday, October 27, 2014. A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Floyd John and Bernice Williams Moore. Pat was also preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Hamlin and a brother, David F. Moore.
Pat was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a former employee of Nypro.
She is survived by two step-sons, Shannon and Michael Hamlin; two sisters, Anita Michal and her son Aaron, and Beulah Wilson and her husband, Steve; a brother, Charles Moore; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church conducted by the Revs. Ronald Roberts and Charles Rogers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.

My condolences to the family and especially to Edna. I know that Pat and Edna were very close and Pat did many things for Edna. I had the pleasure of meeting Pat when I visited Edna. Blessings on the family as you grieve. My thoughts are with all of you.
