Patricia “Pat” Jean Gibson Fisher, 80 passed away Sunday morning at her residence.

Mrs. Fisher was born in Henderson County to the late Arthur and Nancy Kelley Gibson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Howard Fisher and her six siblings; Harold Gibson, Kenneth Gibson, Gary Gibson, Richard Kelley, Catherine Drake and Mildred Yates.

Pat had helped with floral arrangements for over 20 years with local florists and she loved her family dearly. She is survived by her only son, Mark Fisher and his wife, Cathy; one grandson, Steven Fisher; several special nieces and nephews and her special pet dog Simon.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Four Seasons Hospice and Nurse Alli for all they have done during this time.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 4:00 pm at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the funeral home.

  6. I am going to miss pat very much. She was one of a kind. Always smiling when someone made her happy. She over her family. She was so proud of Mark and Steven. She talked about them all the time. Love and miss you Aunt Pat.
