Patsy Geraldine White, 90 years old born September 1933 of Rockingham, NC passed away peacefully at The Lodge at Mill’s River on July 24, 2024. She was the daughter Luke and Mabel Copley of Hamlet. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lee White and two sons, Edgar Lee White (2020) and Daniel Patrick White (2023).

She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne White Gustafson (late husband Ron); a daughter-in-law, Rawan White (Lee White, Jr.); and a grandson, Edgar S. White; and many extended family.

Patsy was a homemaker and mother to her children and a second mother to many. She and Edgar were married for 50 years. They made their home in Rockingham, NC. Patsy had a strong faith in God and believed everything was possible in faith and love.

A Graveside Service is planned for September 20, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in East Side Cemetery in Rockingham, NC, where she will be laid to rest with her husband and son (Dan).

  3. Opal (Golden Retriever Therapy Dog) built a charming relationship with Mrs. White. I was honored to be a part of their visits and see the connection they had for each other, at The Lodge at Mills River. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. We miss not visiting with her at our visits but know she is smiling down on us.
