Paul Lester Jones

Paul Lester Jones, 89, of Alexander, died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the CarePartners Solace Center. A native of Buncombe Co., Paul was a son of the late Grady and Savanna Clark Jones. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Jones. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked as a truck driver for Roadway Express, and was a member of the Teamsters Union. Surviving are his son, Jeffrey Dean Jones; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Private services will be held at a later date. Groce Funeral Home is assisting the family.
