Paul Lewis Williams

Paul Lewis Williams, 85, of Asheville, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025.

A native of Buncombe Co., Paul was a son of the late Walter Clyde Williams and Ira Anders Williams. He was also preceded in death by a son, David Dewayne Williams.

Mr. Williams was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and worked in security at the Biltmore Estate.

Surviving is his wife, Mary Louise Tweed Williams; daughter, Paula Williams; sons, Paul Lewis Williams, Jr., Walter Clyde Williams, Jeffrey Allen Williams and Harold Wendall Williams; 17 grandchildren, Holly, Vanessa, Brittany, Lewis, Amber, Brandon, Lydia, Dylan, Seth, Casey, Lindsey, Chaz, Devon, Eric, Michael, Nathan and Caleb; and 13 great-grandchildren, Layne, Landyn, Hadley, Kanenon, Bella, Remi, Gabriel, Ellie, Alexander, Andrew, Jozi, Ayvin and Leilyn.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15 in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
