Paula Elizabeth Palmer

Paula Young Palmer, 88, formerly of Asheville, died Tuesday, December 30, 2003, in St. Petersburg, FL. A native of Asheville, she lived in Washington, DC for 45 years where she worked in the Department of the Interior. She had been in St. Petersburg for a number of years. She is survived by a daughter, Sherry Power of Mandeville, LA; one grandson, Douglas Power, and three cousins, Deerless Barrett of Falls Church, VA, Peggy Pritchard of Montgomery Village, MD, and Nancy Lowe of Asheville. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Chuck Waldrop officiating.
