Paula Lynn Hatley, 64, of 134 Old Ranger Station Road, Barnardsville, died Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at John F. Keever Hospice.
Born in Wayne County, MI, she was a daughter of the late John and Wanda Rozanski Allen. She was an herbalist for the French Broad Food Co-Op.
Paula was greatly loved and will be missed by family and friends including her husband, Brant Hatley and daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Adam Jones of Canton.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue with the Reverend Dewayne Rathbone officiating.
Her family will receive friends following the service and request that memorials be made to Buncombe County Humane Society, 72 Lee's Creek Road, Asheville, NC 28806.

I am so sorry to see few people know of this Guest Book……Paula touched so many peoples lives! She was an amazing Friend as well as Healer! Too often it is hard for those so close to us to know all the Good and wonderful ways Someone has assisted us on our Journey!!She was such a Soul!! Alice…I know your mom resides close to your heart and will more than likely find a way to make her presence known. She had the most wonderfully stubborn way of loving you! I never met your Dad but I am sure you will both be a comfort to each other during this tender time!! Much Prayers & Love & God’s Grace…and God Speed in your Healing!!!
