Paule Gaudez Galt

Fletcher, NC ~ Paule Simone (nee Goudez) Galt, 95, died Saturday, January 17, 2004 in Hospice Solace Center. Born in Paris, France, Mrs. Galt was the daughter of the late Victor and Jeanne Rabouille Goudez. She was preceded in death by her husbands Edmond Cyrille Dupureur and Warren M. Galt, as well as by her son Jean Claude Dupureur. Mrs. Galt was a self-employed hairdresser and was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her two sons, Alan Dupureur of Fairview, NC and Andre Dupureur of Edwardsville, IL and by Jeffrey Craddock of her Fairview, NC home. Survivors also include ten grandchildren: Jean-Paul Dupureur of France, Martine Lafond of Creve Coeur, MO, Terry Dupureur of Collinsville, IL, Cynthia Dupureur of Maryland Heights, MO, David Dupureur of Louisville, KY, John Dupureur of Edwardsville, IL, James Dupureur of Hollywood, CA, Joseph Dupureur of Edwardsville, IL, Paul Dupureur of Fort Myers, FL, and Mary Elizabeth Dupureur of Theodosia, MO. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road with Rev. Arnie Corriher officiating. A St. Louis, MO service and burial will be held at a later date to be announced.
